“三三模式”
学院充分利用地处宁波经济技术开发区的区域优势，坚持走产学研相结合的办学之路，在实践中形成了具有鲜明区域特色的“三位合一、三方联动”的现代高职教育宁波模式。现代高职教育的宁波模式是指以服务区域经济为指向，区域特色鲜明，产学研紧密结合的教育模式。“三位合一”是指把产学研贯穿于“合作办学、合作育人、合作就业”的全过程：“三方联动”是指政府、学校、企业（行业）三方有机结合，建立互动合作机制，共同开展人才培养。
办学特色：服务地方经济
学院致力于服务社会、服务地方经济，构建服务型教育体系。学院科创中心和北仑科技局合作共同创建了技术创新平台，为企业解决技术难题搭建了桥梁。
办学特色：东西部合作
为缓解宁波市制造业和现代服务业蓝领技术工人紧缺现象，促进西部地区的人力资源开发。从2004年开始，学院开展东、西部合作办学，为区域培养紧缺人才，先后与贵州交通职业技术学院、新疆农业职业技术学院、西安航空职业大学、宁夏职业技术学院等合作开展“2+1”人才培养模式的实践，目前已有200多名学生已通过合作办学方式在宁波实现就业。
此外大港教育集团还和宁波职教中心、温岭职技校等40多所中高职院校合作，搭建了区域人才引进网络，建立了“2+1、3+2”等多种人才培养模式，不断为宁波及周边地区企业输送技能型人才。

学院利用师资力量和教学设施，积极开展企业员工的培训工作，使学院成为企业的培训基地。几年来，学院先后为海天集团、宝新不锈钢公司、和记黄埔北仑港集装箱有限公司、申洲织造公司、吉利汽车公司、北仑区各大酒店等培训各类员工和高级管理人员15000多人，收到了良好的经济和社会效益。同时，学院积极开展对区域失地农民的技能培训，为北仑区的培训失地农民500多人，提高了他们的技能。

学院积极探求一条具有自身特色的高职办学之路，通过校企联合办学，借助企业的优势，对学生进行多种技能训练。目前，学院已同开发区敏孚企业、中国海天集团、宁波讯达仓储运输公司等200多家企业签定了联合办学协议。聘请有关企业的业务骨干为学院专业委员会成员，参与学院学生培养目标的确定和教学计划的制定，使学院的教育教学贴近企业的需要，培养符合市场需要的人才，提高了学生就业率。毕业生就业率连年在99%以上。

we are devoed to serving the social needs and promoting the economic development of the seaport city.we take pains to build up the "To put social needs on the first place and provide them best services " educational syste.The platform for technological innovation is constructed through the joint effforts of technological lnnovation Center of NBPT and Beilun Scientific and Technologincal Bureau.this platform always provides best solutions to various kinds of technical problems for enterprises.
Features: East-west cooperation in the field of education
The recent situation is that technicians are urgently needed in manufacturing and modern service sectors in Ningbo while students with skills in Western China are striving hard to get a job vacancy.Toease the urgency,since 2004,we have been cooperating with these schools.Up to now ,under the guide of our college, over 200 students from that area have successfully found their positions in ning bo. The above-mentioned schools include Guizhou Communication Vocational and Techonlolgical College, Xinjiang Agricultural Vocational and Technological College, Xi’ an Aerospace Staff University and Ningxia Vocational and Technological College.
In addition,Dagang Vocational and Technical Education Group has built long-term cooperative relationship with more than 40 education system and the new cultivation mode of “2+1” and “3+2”,they have constantly supplied the community with high quality talented manpower in recent years.

With skilled staff and complete facility,the school have been carrying out training courses for enterprises in Beilun. For years,the college have seen more than 15000 company employees coming and going,mostly from Haitian Group,Baoxin Steel Co.,Ningbo Beilun international Container Terminals Ltd Company(jointly invested by Ningbo Port Group and Hong Kong Hutchison Whampoa Linited ), Ningbo Shenzhou Textile(Group)ltd.,Geely Automobile Co.and hotels around Beilun.Meanwhile,skill training has been provided to over 500 farmers in beilun who have lost their land,and this enables them to make a living and live a better life.

Higher vocational education aims to provide talended people who have practical knowledge ,techniques and skills to serve in the front line of production,managment.and service.Our school is actively exploring a new path to reach the target.which reelects our own educational featues.we are cooperating with indusries so we can offer students chances of having practial skill trainings in our industrial patrner's workshops .by now.we have entered into joint-effort agreements with China Haitian Grop.Minth Enterprise and Ningbo Shuangling Grop etc.we also invite leaders and managers in deferent enterprises to be members of our consultation committee and asked themto help uo with the design of educational plans and educational target. Therefore ,we put our college closer to understand the needs of these enterprises and tailormake the needed talents in the job marked,as a result, we have consecutively boasted an empoloyment rate of 99% for our graduates in recent years.
